Exciting Milestone: My Research Powers a World-First Achievement in Accessibility.
Hello everyone,
I'm thrilled to share some incredible news! Recently, research I conducted during my time at the University of lowa played a pivotal role in a groundbreaking achievement-enabling the first man in the world to run a half marathon without a human guide. This amazing milestone, achieved in Sweden, was powered by technology developed by the Google Accessibility Team, with my research as its foundation. It's humbling to know that work l'm so passionate about is now impacting lives in such tangible ways.
This experience has deepened my commitment to creating inclusive technologies that make the world more accessible for all. I'm grateful to the Google team for pushing the boundaries and to everyone who continues to inspire my journey in accessibility research. Stay tuned for more updates on this project and others-I can't wait to share what's next.
Thanks for reading,
Rachel
